Pursuant to The Cities Act Section 101(2), the Council of the City of Regina hereby gives notice of intention to lease at a rate less than current market value the property legally described as:
That portion of demised space in Unit 11 within the GM Plant Building civically known as 1250 Winnipeg Street as shown on Reg’d Plan No. 67R03593, Block C, in the City of Regina.
This matter will be considered by City Council at its meeting on Monday, December 15th, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. City Council will give any person the opportunity to be heard by Council. The City Clerk will, prior to Council considering the proposed property lease, enquire as to whether any person wishes to be heard by Council in relation to that matter.
Any person wishing to make representations or to express any objection to the proposed lease may do so in the form of written notice with reasons for objecting, if applicable, and all relevant facts to the City Clerk, 15th Floor, City Hall, no later than three days before the Council meeting. If persons want their written submission to be circulated to Council members with the Council meeting agenda, they must deliver their submission to the City Clerk four days before the Council meeting, by 1 p.m. on Thursday December 11th, 2008.
